You can work 20 to 40 hours a week while studying! OPT is not guaranteed. Students can work no more than one year of full-time CPT if they want to be eligible for OPT.

Information about the Masters Program

 

Study/Work:

• All students can work while attending Masters Program. Working is part of the program.

• Students receive credit toward the degree as they work in their chosen or related field.

• The College has a strong health care placement for medical professionals. Most have jobs within 30 days of completing cultural assimilation course and/or receiving their CPT. However, jobs are not guaranteed - bring enough money to support yourself for 3 to 6 months.

• Students may receive OPT (Optional Practical Training) for working upon graduating.

• If you are a nurse and do not have NCLEX, SNI can assist with NCLEX study and licensing if needed. This helps obtain placement as an RN. Study books can be ordered through SNI.

 

IELTS score of a 6.0 band overall is needed to enter Master's Degree Program - IELTS must be current.

If you do not have the required IELTS scores or need English language training you will be entered into the ESL training program upon arrival in Salt Lake City, Utah. Contact SNI.

 

 

Application Process:

 

• College applications accepted at any time. Send CV and transcripts for initial assessment.

•Complete application with all documents must be submitted 2-months prior to course start date.
• Once assessed and approved by the college, SNI will send you the application package
• School to provide documents for the I-20 which is needed for the student visa.

•When the student receives the I-20 from the college contact the Consulate for an interview.

•SNI will guide you on how to prepare for the interview.

• Interview by the college and a 500 word essay will be required.

Information:

• We suggest sharing an apartment with a friend to split costs. Apartments close to campus.

• Housing Program with Host Families available - about $600/month for room and board.

• Health Insurance - nurse pays own, usually shared costs with employer.

• Bring enough funds for at least 3-6 months to support yourself.

 

Tuition and Fees:

• $250 administrative fee paid to SNI when accepted into the program plus $150 college processing fee ($400).

• Initial College Tuition fee - $3,500 - due one month prior to course starting.

• Total tuition fee for two years is $29,300 with monthly payments (about $1,300)

• If the F-1 Visa is refused the college reimburses all initial tuition fees paid except the $150 registration fee.

• The SNI administrative fee of $250 is not refundable.

• Affidavit of support is required by the US government – see application information or contact SNI for more information.

 

Suggestion: Pay all of the initial tuition of $3,500 upon registration. This helps convince the Embassy at time of interview that you really are serious about studying for an advanced degree in America. If visa is refused the college will refund all of the tuition paid. If you have enrolled at the school and receive a visa and decide to drop out – the initial tuition is not refunded.

Please note: If the college decides that the transcripts lack the requisites needed, the college will advise at time of initial registration the courses the student needs to take.

SNI in Association with our colleagues at the Manhattan Institute of Management, New York City, offer the following programs:


Programs requiring an Associate Degree:

Six-month International Business Program
Three-month Intensive English Program

Programs requiring a Bachelor Degree:

All programs are certificate and/or degree based programs.
I-20 issued by the school for the M-1 visa student visa.
The Master's Program is 6-months in Spain and 6-months in New York.

 

Externships:

 

Non-paid Externships are available and part of the curriculum.

Student supplies the school with his/her top 5 industry preferences.
School arranges a minimum of 2-3 interviews within 2-weeks of arrival.
Position offered - student accepts. 100% of students have received internships!

 

Tuition (Contact SNI for current tuition):

$5,000 (US) for a 6-month course.
Approximate expenses for a 6-month program - $9-$11,000 which includes tuition.
Student pays own airfare to New York.
There is a $250 SNI fee paid to SNI for administrative expenses to include FedEx charges.

Fifty percent (50%) of tuition must be paid before the school will issue the I-20 which is needed to apply for the visa.

Final tuition due 30-days prior to course and arriving in the USA.

School will assist you in finding accommodation

If you do not receive the visa at the US Embassy all tuition paid will be refunded except for the $250 administrative/registration fee paid to SNI.
